Our Philosophy & Background

At Dowson Design, we believe in transforming outdoor spaces into stunning environments that enhance quality of life. Founded in 2003, our principal designer, Donna Dowson, combines creativity and sustainability to craft unique landscapes tailored to each client’s vision.

Donna was a featured designer on HGTV’s Yard Crashers TV show from 2013 – 2017 where she provided the landscape design used by the show and worked with the homeowner on various garden art installations.

Donna’s designs were implemented into 22 episodes of Yard Crashers TV shows over 12 seasons. Each one consisted of a full backyard makeover in just a single weekend performed by an army of volunteers and professionals. An incredibly fun and challenging experience.
